MVL Literacy Tools

 

These unique MVL literacy tools serve as a bridge to help develop and refine the child’s acquisition of English by visual and tactile means. We believe that these tools may be utilized with a school’s standard elementary language arts curriculum without replacing the current curriculum. It is only an additional set of tools. MVL tools can support the development of reading and writing skills in English, without the usual reliance on sound. We emphasize the need to learn English as a new language after ASL.

After using MVL, children become independent learners, as the children analyze the functions of words and construct their own thoughts more creatively.
